Jan Greben is one of the nation’s leading environmental litigators and a recognized expert in soil and groundwater contamination. His 40 years of experience includes Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), cost recovery, toxic torts and agency site oversight disputes and has been spread among a wide variety of federal, state and administrative proceedings. With his expansive knowledge regarding environmental and general civil laws, Jan practices extensively in the areas of environmental, public entity defense work related to environmental and other matters. He has decades of trial experience in state and federal courts, as well as facilitating numerous settlements through mediation and negotiation. Since 1988, Jan has been awarded and maintained the prestigious AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell® in recognition of his skills and expertise, experience, and highest level of professional integrity. He is also Of Counsel to Hamrick & Evans LLP, a prestigious law firm in Burbank, CA and frequently partners with this firm on his matters.
