Christine Monroe is an attorney at Greben and Associates with a focus on environmental law, complex litigation and insurance matters.  Christine’s experience includes both litigation and regulatory matters, with a specific focus on environmental laws such as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Carpenter-Presley-Tanner Hazardous Substance Account Act (HSAA), and related cost recovery claims.

Christine is a graduate of the Santa Barbara College of Law, completing her studies with high honors.  While in law school, Christine was recognized for her community service three consecutive years by the Santa Barbara Women Lawyers Foundation and has received the McLafferty Memorial Law School Award.

Christine serves as the President of the Santa Barbara Women Lawyers Association and the Past President of the Santa Barbara Women Lawyers Foundation.  She also serves as a director on the Get Oil Out! Board, which focuses on preserving the Santa Barbara coastlines.
